Christie Porter obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, with honors, from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She learned her love of the law from her father who worked in the federal court system. She also has a paralegal certificate from University of Nevada, Reno. She has lived in Reno since 2006. While not originally from Nevada, she has found a loving and supportive home and community here in Reno.

Christie has over 17 years of paralegal experience. She has been focused on civil litigation for most of her career with particular experience with personal injury and insurance defense and is excited to use her skills and knowledge to work with the clients of Silver State Law. As a seasoned professional, Christie excels in civil procedure and maintaining great client relationships.

Christie enjoys spending time with her family and their Irish Doodle, going to her kids’ soccer games, traveling, and going to concerts.
